The B.Ed. course being offered in this college has been catering to the needs of students of this area.

Nancy College of Education is a Premier Teacher Training College of Education in the State of Punjab managed by the Mata Rameshwari Devi Memorial Trust, Warraichan Road, Samana, Distt. Patiala registered on 25th January, 2005. The trust is founded and headed by great visionary Dr. Sham Jindal in Samana with leading other personalities of the Society. The aim of the Trust is to establish educational (General and Professional) institutions and Welfare Organizations principally for the benefit of youth who are aspiring to make their career after doing graduation. We fully believe in imparting quality Education. The Goal of Nancy College is to provide qualitative learning experience and development of holistic personality of the teachers trainees. To equips the teacher-trainees with modern trends in education and develops love & affection towards the society.

The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme of NCE aims at developing the understanding and competencies required by prospective teachers for effective teaching-learning process. In addition, it provides knowledge and develops in them an understanding of areas such as educational evaluation, school management, etc. Practical shape is given to the education principles, learnt in classroom and Student Oriented Programs are organized from time to time to enhance personality.

Admission to the B.Ed. course is based on a Common Entrance Test (CET) / Centralised Counselling conducted by one of the three universities viz. Punjab University, Chandigarh, Punjabi University, Patiala and Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. After the declaration of the result, admissions are done through centralized counselling conducted by the same university and the candidates choose an institution based on their choice and ranking in the Entrance Test Reservation of the various categories in the seats to be filled in this college is as prescribed by the Punjab Government.
