Environment Day celebrated in association with the Forest Department, Samana

On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Environment Day was celebrated in Nancy Group of Colleges in association with Forest Department Samana. Forest Officer Mr. Iqbal Singh, Beat Incharge , Mr. Satpal along with his assistant Gurpreet Singh planted various fruit and shade plants in the premises of Nancy College of Education, Samana. On the occasion of World Environment Day, a seminar on Environment Day was also conducted in Nancy College of Law, Samana (Patiala). On the occasion of planting trees, College Chairman Dr. Sham Jindal, Managing Director cum Senate Member, Punjabi University, Patiala Dr. Venus Jindal (CA), Principal Dr. Leena Laur and other staff members were also present. Dr. Sham Jindal thanked entire team of Forest Department, Samana and also applauded the projects being run by them for creating a clean and airy environment in the entire area.
